Rashmika Mandanna is undeniably one of South’s top-rated stars now. The actor is also all set to debut in Bollywood and fans are sure that she will make it big there as well. But behind the story of the actor’s phenomenal journey towards being the Karnataka crush, there were a lot of hurdles and heartbreak.

In 2017, just a year after Rashmika’s debut in the film industry with Kirik Party she got engaged to her co-star Rakshit Shetty at the age of 19. However, she broke the engagement with him the very next year and it gave way to a number of media speculations and rumors. She later shared how she was affected by the trolling and personal attacks that she went through due to her split up.

In a hard-hitting note she wrote, "And also need to add that just as how every coin has two sides, so does every story. Please let us who work in our industry, work with a little peace of mind. That's my two cents, let me conclude by saying I will CONTINUE DOING KANNADA FILMS.. I AM HERE TO STAY.. be it any language, any industry, I'll give my best shot.. thank you,"

And she indeed proved her statement when just after her engagement broke, she was on a career-high as Geetha Govindam became a massive hit. . The actor has been unstoppable since then. Her pair with Vijay Deverakonda was loved so much that they did Dear Comrade together again. Due to her massive popularity in the South, she is now making her debut in Tamil films with Sultan and also has a number of films with South biggies in her kitty including Allu Arjun’s Pushpa.

This year Rashmika Mandanna will also be entering Bollywood opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu. Not to forget that even before her debut, she has already been roped in for another Bollywood flick opposite Big B. The journey of stardom for the young star has just begun.
