Everyone was intrigued by the fact that once Tollywood’s most loved couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, is all set to compete with each other in Bollywood as they mark their debut at the same time. But seems like Rashmika has already beaten Vijay and is one step ahead even before their movies have released.
Yes! She has grabbed her second Bollywood movie already within days of announcing her debut film and that too with Mega Star Amitabh Bachchan.
According to the latest buzz, Rashmika Mandanna has signed the film with director Vikas Bahl alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The film is titled 'Deadly' which will be a slice of life that explores a father-daughter relationship with humour. The film will roll out on the floors in March 2021.
Rashmika’s Huge Fees
The Southern Beauty is also making a lot of buzz due to the whooping fees she is going to get paid for 'Deadly'.
According to Pinkvilla, "Ekta Kapoor wanted a prominent face to star in the film. Vikas offered it to Rashmika who liked the script. But she charges a whopping amount down South. Despite being a newcomer in Bollywood, she is being paid to the tune of Rs 5-6 crore for this film alone. The makers are happy with their decision and have locked her for the film."
Rashmika’s Bollywood Debut
Recently, fans were taken by surprise when Rashmika announced her Bollywood debut Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The romance thriller will depict the real lives of RAW agents.
The Kirik Party star will start shooting for her debut from Feb 2021 and wrap it up by April 2021. She will be kickstarting Deadly soon after that and have to juggle with her South films as well. According to reports, though her role in Mission Majnu is important but her role in Deadly opposite Big B is meatier and challenging.
