Freshly married stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently offered fans a peek into their joyous wedding celebrations by sharing moments from their reception evening. The couple posted a video capturing heartfelt scenes from the event along with a touching message expressing gratitude for the love they received.

On Thursday, the duo shared the reception clip on social media and thanked everyone who made the past weeks memorable. “The Reception Evening. These past two weeks have been joyous. Every day, every event, every moment, and every person has filled us with love. Biggest hugs and kisses, and our gratitude (red heart). With love, Vijay & Rashmika,” they wrote.

The video shows the couple arriving together for the reception, walking hand in hand as they climbed the steps and paused for photographs. They were also seen greeting and smiling at the paparazzi stationed outside the venue, acknowledging the attention and warm wishes that surrounded their celebrations.

A Star-Studded Reception in Hyderabad

The grand reception took place on Wednesday at the elegant Taj Krishna Hyderabad and drew several prominent names from the film industry. Among those present were Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, who attended with Amala Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya. Actors Nani, Sreeleela, Naveen Polishetty and Kriti Sanon were also among the guests who joined the celebration.

Traditional Elegance on Display

For the evening, Rashmika embraced classic South Indian tradition with a deep red Mysore silk saree featuring intricate gold zari borders and the symbolic Gandaberunda motifs associated with Mysore’s royal legacy. She paired the saree with elaborate gold jewellery from Shree Jewellers, including a striking Peacock Fountain necklace designed in Nakshi work with emerald and Burma ruby accents. Heavy earrings, bangles, and a gold odiyanam (waist belt) completed the regal look.

Vijay complemented her attire with a refined traditional ensemble—an ivory silk kurta paired with a veshti and an angavastram draped over his shoulder. His understated styling included layered metallic chains, adding a subtle touch of sophistication.

Wedding Ceremony in Udaipur

Before the Hyderabad reception, the couple tied the knot on February 26 in an intimate destination wedding at ITC Mementos Ekaaya Udaipur. The ceremony celebrated both their cultural traditions with two distinct rituals. The day began with a traditional Telugu wedding honouring Vijay’s heritage, followed by a Kodava ceremony in the evening that reflected Rashmika’s Coorg roots, blending two cultures into one memorable celebration.
