Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Reports indicate that the Southern diva will kickstart the shooting for her upcoming flick from February 12 onwards in the city of Nawabs-Lucknow.

The Dear Comrade beauty has established her mettle in both Telugu and Kannada movies and is all set to debut in Tamil films with Sulthan opposite Karthi. But for her more important is her debut in Bollywood that can surely make her a pan India star.

While the crew of Mission Majnu will start formal shooting from 6th February, the lead stars Rashmika and Sidharth will join the team from 12th February. According to reports, it will be a 45-day schedule during which the team will shoot on the city roads, Malihabad, La Martiniere, and Jahangirabad Palace in Hazratganj.
Directed by Shantanu Bagchi the movie showcases true events from the 70s. The story revolves around the covert operations carried out by India in Pakistan during those times and which later on became one of the deciding factors in the relationship between India and Pakistan.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the love interest of Sidharth who is a RAW agent and goes to Pakistan as a part of an undercover operation.

According to reports, the Southern superstar spent around two weeks in Mumbai to prepare for her role in Mission Majnu. She will also be seen next in Pushpa opposite Allu Arjun slated to release on 13th August 2021.
