Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun's Pushpa Update: Makers Lock Release Date?

Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun will be seen together for the first time in the Telugu movie Pushpa. The action-thriller is being written and directed by Sukumar. According to the latest reports, Mythri Movie Makers who are bankrolling the flick have decided to release it next year on Makar Sankranti.

While no such official confirmation has come from the producer or the director of Pushpa, the buzz is very strong that the movie will hit the screen on Makar Sankranti 2022.

Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun's High Voltage Drama Made With Staggering Budget

The movie is an action thriller packed with high voltage drama and scintillating thrills and action sequences. As expected the makers have decided to allot a staggering budget of 180 crores for the movie so that no compromise is made while shooting the fights and action scenes.

While the movie is being made originally in Telugu, it will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada for pan India release. Vijay Sethupathi who earlier was roped in as the lead antagonist for Pushpa has reportedly opted out of the flick due to date clashes.

Tollywood actor Arya is rumored to be replacing him as the main villain. If Arya does give a nod for Pushpa then it will mark his return to Telugu cinema after 10 years.

Elsewhere, the crush of India, Rashmika Mandanna is now back in Hyderabad after attending a few preparatory sessions in Mumbai for her upcoming Bollywood flick Mission Majnu.
