Breaking the Pushpa 2 Record

On Wednesday afternoon, Jio Studios unveiled a celebratory poster declaring Dhurandhar as “India’s highest grossing Hindi film.” Featuring Ranveer Singh in a commanding avatar, the poster thanked audiences with the message “Thank you India. Ganpati Bappa morya.” According to the makers, the film’s Hindi net collection stands at Rs 831 crore after 33 days in theatres.

Pushpa 2, which released in 2024, had earlier set a benchmark with its Hindi dubbed version earning Rs 821 crore. While trade sources suggest Dhurandhar is yet to cross that exact figure, the film has officially been positioned as the new record-holder by its production house.
