Sangati Jogwar

Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are two big stars of Bollywood’s young brigade. In the last couple of years, these two stars have played a big role in breaking the mould of the Khan trinity which included Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman. Ranbir who was struggling to get a big hit struck gold with “Sanju” which crossed the 300-crore mark whereas Ranveer's failure has not been much of a part of his career. Except “Befikre” Ranveer Singh’s most of the movies have been superhit.

For Ranbir Kapoor, it took a big director like Rajkumar Hirani or Imtiaz Ali to taste the success. But for Ranveer Singh irrespective of be it Zoya Akhtar or Sanjay Leela Bhansali he has delivered successful movies with most of his directors. That is why it would be interesting to see how the year 2020 favours both these stars.

Ranbir Kapoor In Brahmastra Vs Ranveer Singh In 83

Ranbir Kapoor is expected to have at least two releases in the year 2020. The first one is “Brahmastra” slated to be released somewhere near the summer and the other one is “Shamshera.” In “Brahmastra” Ranbir will be seen for the first time with his beau Alia Bhatt. The trilogy is going to be a mystery movie that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in important roles. Since Ranbir did not have any release last year this Ayan Mukherjee directed film will be very important for him.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh had superhits “Simmba” and “Gully Boy” in 2019 and is now gearing up for the release of “83,” a biopic based on the life of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. The first look of the star is already out and has impressed the fans immensely. This Kabir Khan directed movie has already created a lot of anticipation. Another plus point is that after “Padmavat” both Ranveer and Deepika Padukone will once again share the screen space. Ranveer will also be seen next in “Jayeshbhai Jordaar.”

While for Ranveer if one or two of his movies go flop it may not affect his market value as he has continuously given superhit movies. But for Ranbir who chooses to do few movies the fate of “Brahmastra” or “Shamshera” is going to be a big decider.
