After a number of media reports and speculations, Ranbir Kapoor has finally confirmed marrying Ali Bhatt soon. He also shared that if not for the pandemic, he would have tied the knot sooner.

In Ranbir’s latest interview with Rajeev Masand, the actor talked about how he spent his lockdown days and his marriage plans. The actor also shared the crisis he went through when his father Rishi Kapoor passed away. Reportedly, Alia has purchased a posh apartment in the same building where Ranbir stays and the couple spent the lockdown together.

Addressing the marriage rumours, the Barfi actor said that he would have ‘sealed the deal’ if the pandemic wouldn’t have had hit their lives. Confirming that he is tying the knot on a date sooner, Ranbir said "I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,”

When asked about his lockdown days and whether the star took any online classes, he said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is -- from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially, we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been living together for a while now after them being in a relationship. The duo is currently waiting for the release of Brahmastra, their first big-screen collaboration together.
