Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor turned 43 on September 28. Fans and industry colleagues flooded social media with warm wishes for the Ramayana actor. To add to the celebrations, Ranbir surprised everyone by going live on Instagram from the official page of his lifestyle brand Arks on Sunday evening. During the session, the actor engaged with fans, answered questions, and revealed the most special gift he received this year.

Ranbir Shares Raha’s Birthday Promise

Speaking about his daughter Raha’s adorable gesture, Ranbir said during the live session, “Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses, so I got that!”

The heartfelt revelation left fans gushing over the father-daughter bond.

Alia Bhatt Posts Raha’s Handwritten Note

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt wish for her husband. She shared a series of pictures marking the occasion, but the highlight was a handwritten birthday note by their daughter, Raha Kapoor.

In the letter, little Raha wrote, “Happy Birthday best papa in the world.” Another picture showed Ranbir and Raha’s hands reaching for a slice of cake, while Alia and Ranbir were also seen embracing during a picturesque sunset moment. Alia captioned the post, “happy birthday our whole and soul” (sic).

Ranbir and Alia’s Journey Together

Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in April 2022 after years of dating. Their daughter Raha was born in November the same year. The couple introduced Raha publicly for the first time on Christmas 2023, much to the delight of fans.

Upcoming Films of Ranbir Kapoor

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The magnum opus stars Yash, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Sai Pallavi, Kajal Aggarwal, among others, and will release in two parts, with the first installment scheduled for Diwali 2026. Additionally, Ranbir is also working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is currently under production.
