Rajinikanth-starrer 'Petta' to feature song with Sambalpuri beats

Bhubaneswar: After Sambalpuri folk song 'Rangabati' was lapped up by Bollywood, a Tamil movie featuring legendry actor Rajinikanth is going to have a song made on Sambalpuri beats.

The song of Rajinikanth-starrer movie 'Petta' will feature beats of Sambalpuri 'Dhol-Nishan' instrument and the megastar will be seen dancing to them.

Music Director Ribas said that his team is excited about the song and getting an opportunity to be a part of Rajinikanth's movie is a big thing in itself.

The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran.

Moreover, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, M Sasikumar and Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in the movie.

'Petta' is expected to hit the theaters in November 2019.
