Cannes: The 72nd Cannes Film Festival will undoubtedly get a taste of Bollywood's girl power this year. While Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Hina Khan and Kangana Ranaut have already reached the French Riviera, more actors are likely to join the 11-day gala in the days to come.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Huma Qureshi, Mallika Sherawat and Diana Penty will also be shortly joining the Fashion Parade at the Cannes gala which ends on May 25.
For her debut at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas looked fiery in a bold black and red embellished ensemble, a custom creation by Roberto Cavalli. She carried the strapless gown with a thigh-high slit with panache.

Deepika Padukone went as dramatic as it could get for her red carpet appearance at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, where she wore a cream dress with a gigantic bow taking most of the attention away from her striking make-up and unique hairdo.
Deepika, here to represent a cosmetics brand, wore a creation by designer Peter Dundas for the event. The cream gown had a front slit, a plunging neckline, exaggerated sleeves and a bow. Her eye make-up exuded drama with dark reverse winged eyeliner and a sleek and neat high ponytail.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, who chose to flaunt a traditional Kanjeevaram sari styled with a twist with a corset and gloves at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival here, said she considers nationalism spiritual in nature.

Hina Khan, known for her roles in shows like "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and "Kasautii Zindagii Kay", wore a glittery grey gown with a moderate trail and a plunging neckline, leaving social media users gaga over her look.
She will also be a speaker at the India Pavilion of the global film jamboree, and launch the first look of her film "Lines" here.

As for fashion icon Sonam, who has been a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, she will have elements of simplicity and elegance in her look at this year's red carpet.
Her sister Rhea Kapoor, who often doubles up as her stylist, told IANS: "I think this year we are going to focus on simplicity and elegance... It will be more on Sonam's personality and where she is in her life right now.
"This is a very beautiful phase of her life where she is very happy, content and emotionally secure. So, it should come across in the clothes and the looks."
Diana Penty will make her first Cannes debut, while Huma is going to make her second appearance.
