Priyanka Chopra was spotted visiting a salon in the UK with her mother and dog earlier on Wednesday. Currently, the country is in lockdown, and personal services like salons and spas are closed. So when PeeCee visited the salon, it was considered as an act violating the corona lockdown norms.

Reports stated that after getting an alert, the police visited the salon and gave a verbal reminder to the owner but did not impose any fine. However, now the desi girl's representative has come out with a clarification which indicates that Priyanka Chopra did not flout the lockdown rules.

Priyanka Chopra Had Legal Permit To Visit Salon

A representative of the The Sky is Pink actress has said that PeeCee carried a legal permit to visit the salon and did not in any way flout the corona lockdown norms in the UK. She had papers that allowed her to visit the salon and get her hair colored.

Priyanka is currently in the UK shooting for her upcoming movie Text For You.  In his statement to Belfast Telegraph, the representative said, "Following Government guidance, Priyanka’s hair was colored for the purpose of the film she is currently shooting in London. The salon was opened privately for the production and everyone involved had been tested and followed both the DCMS working guidelines and the film production regulations."

Despite coronal lockdown, film and television productions have been given a go-ahead and can be carried out following the government guidelines.

The representative further added, "As I am sure you are aware, film and TV production is permitted to continue in the UK, and locations can continue to accommodate shoots and recces (pre-filming visits) that are carried out in-line with Government guidelines. The paperwork legally permitting her to be there was provided to the police, and they left satisfied.”
