Sangati Jogwar

Prabhas was already a big star of the Tamil film industry even before “Baahubali” was released. But this huge project of Karan Johar and Raja Mouli made Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty international stars. So when his first movie “Saaho” after the magnum opus “Baahubali” was released the expectations were very high from the superstar.

The movie had all the masala that a commercially successful movie usually has including sizzling dance, high octane action scenes, sophistication, lavish sets and more. It was released in multiple regional languages at one time including Hindi. In “Saaho” Prabhas starred opposite Bollywood’s popular actress Shraddha Kapoor. Even then the flick could not do much at the box-office.

That is why the next film that he is planning to start is very crucial for Prabhas. According to reports, Prabhas has signed film opposite Pooja Hegde titled “Jaan” in collaboration with Radha Krishna Kumar. The project was expected to start in November 2019, after the release of the action thriller “Saaho” directed by Sujeeth.

But Prabhas postponed the shooting and later on left for vacation leaving the big sets constructed for the shooting of “Jaan” much to the dismay of the filmmaker. The producers had created the sets in Hyderabad for shooting the periodic romantic drama according to earlier decided schedule.

Prabhas Is Not Happy With Script?

The South Indian superstar is known for his professionalism. So when he decided to bunk the shooting schedule rumours started circulating that the superstar is not happy with the script of “Jaan” and hence has asked Radha Krishna Kumar to make some changes. Another buzz says that the producers have also decided to cut short the budget of the movie post the debacle of “Saaho” at the box-office.

The latest report suggests that Prabhas will take a final call on whether to do the movie or not on 31st December and if not happy with the conditions may even quit the movie.
