The most awaited movie of the year, Saaho may not be releasing on August 30. The Prabhas starrer Saaho that was scheduled to be released on August 15 and later on August 30, is likely to shift its release date by a few weeks.
As per sources, the makers of the movie have made up their mind to shift the release date to avoid a box office clash with Bollywood movies ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Batla House’. The movies starring Akshya Kumar and John Abraham respectively will definitely divide box office profit.
However, PTI reported citing a source close to the production team, that the movie is not releasing on August 15 because some work is still left on the film and the VFX is taking a longer time. “The film is likely to release either on August 30 or September 6 but no date has been finalised yet," the source added.
However, new rumours are making rounds that the movie may be pushed ahead again and release on September 6, but there is no confirmation to this.
‘Saaho’ is one of the most awaited movies. Fans will have the chance to watch their Darling once again in an action thriller after a long gap. Prabhas was last seen in the magnum opus Baahubali which changed the entire Indian film industry.
Prabhas apart, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in the female lead while other Bollywood stars like Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunky Panday are also playing major roles in the movie.
The film has been made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore and it will hit theaters simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
