Korean Powerhouse Don Lee Begins His Indian Chapter

The newest excitement stems from reports that Korean superstar Ma Dong-seok, better known internationally as Don Lee, has begun shooting for his first Indian film, and it’s none other than Spirit.

As per industry whispers, filming commenced on Tuesday at a major studio in Hyderabad, setting the stage for a one-of-a-kind Indo-Korean cinematic collaboration.

While the news has electrified fans, there’s no official confirmation of these developments yet.

Still, the idea of Don Lee sharing screen space with Prabhas is enough to send adrenaline through film circles across Asia.

Rebel Star’s Next Move: Joining Spirit Soon?

Speculation is equally strong that Prabhas himself is preparing to join the sets soon. Grapevine suggests the superstar is deliberately keeping a low profile for now — he will reportedly skip most of the promotional events for The Raja Saab, barring the pre-release event in Seattle, USA, on December 27.

As reported by Rangasthalam, Darling will directly fly from Seattle to Mexico for the Spirit shoot.

This has only fuelled chatter that Prabhas is setting aside time to dive into his intense cop avatar under Vanga’s direction. The collaboration is widely seen as one that could redefine the cinematic scale of action dramas in Indian film history.

However, authenticity behind the development couldn’t be verified.

Clearing the Air: The Raja Saab Release On Track

Even as Spirit dominates discussions, The Raja Saab found itself in the rumour mill over its release schedule. However, the makers have swiftly put all doubts to rest. On Tuesday, production house People MEDIA FACTORY shared an official statement confirming that the film will arrive as originally planned.

The note read, "In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless." (sic)

The statement went on to emphasize, "The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026 as officially announced. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace, maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay." (sic)

Festive Fever Builds as Fans Await a Double Treat

Closing on a confident note, the team urged fans to ignore baseless speculation and soak in the festive excitement. They promised that promotional content will be unveiled soon, adding another layer of anticipation to an already electric atmosphere.
