The newest excitement stems from reports that Korean superstar Ma Dong-seok, better known internationally as Don Lee, has begun shooting for his first Indian film, and it’s none other than Spirit.

Grapevine suggests the superstar is deliberately keeping a low profile for now — he will reportedly skip most of the promotional events for The Raja Saab, barring the pre-release event in Seattle, USA, on December 27.

As reported by Rangasthalam, Darling will directly fly from Seattle to Mexico for the Spirit shoot.

On Tuesday, production house People MEDIA FACTORY shared an official statement confirming that the film will arrive as originally planned.

The note read, "In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless." (sic)

The statement went on to emphasize, "The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026 as officially announced. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace, maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay." (sic)
