Baahubali star Prabhas’ upcoming ‘Radhe Shyam’ is one of among the top anticipated movies scheduled to release in July this year. Currently, fans are counting days for its release. As per the latest updates, the makers have wrapped up the shooting and are in editing studios. However, as per the latest buzz, the anticipated movie directed by Radha Krishna Kumar has landed in trouble and its release now is in doldrums.
The teaser of Radhe Shyam, released on Valentine’s Day, was a treat for fans. Earlier on Ugadi, the Billa actor also shared a poster featuring himself. From the first day itself, fans are going crazy after the announcement of the movie featuring Prabhas. With the updates, anticipation among movie lovers is escalating.
But, here is probably a bad news for fans excited over the movie’s release. If the latest buzz is to be believed, the makers might postpone the release date.
As per the grapevine, the makers had wrapped up the shooting and entered into post-production works of editing. However, lead actor Prabhas went through the edited clips and was not satisfied with some scenes. He demanded a reshoot of a few scenes.
On the other hand, lead actress Pooja Hegde said ‘NO’ to attend the reshoots. Amid the upsurge of COVID-19 cases across the country and the imposed restrictions in different states and cities, the actress preferred to stay at home and is not prepared to step out till the situation changes.
Meanwhile, there are some pending scenes to be shot with Krishnam Raju as well. But, considering the actor’s age, the makers are not compelling him for shooting.
COVID-19 pandemic has turned a spoiler for entertainment industry. And this time too, the deadly virus has come as an obstacle for post-production work of Radhe Shyam. Comparing the current situation of the pandemic with the previous year, worst case scenarios are being reported from different states. The COVID-19 second wave might worsen with time. If normalcy doesn’t resume by June, the makers might be forced to postpone Radhe Shyam release date.
