Prabhas on Maintaining Fitness and Baahubali
The ‘Young Rebel Star’ revealed that he wanted to get rid of the larger than life warrior look from Baahubali to play the role of which he had to gain nearly 10 kilo.
He said, “I gained around 10 kilograms for the warrior look and I don’t want to have that look for all my films. It gets boring. Hence I went for a leaner look in this film. I exercised a lot and reduced my carbohydrate intake. I was having my food in portions every three hours. I started doing more of cardio and less of weight training. I just wanted to lose the fat and not so much of muscles. For Abu Dhabi shoots, there were not many body shots, so I did cheat and eat things here and there,” Khaleej Times reported.
It is worth mentioning that for the Saaho’s stunt director is Kenny Bates who has worked on Hollywood movies like Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Pearl Harbor, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and The Fast and the Furious. So, we can expect getting goosebumps while watching all those scenes.
‘Saaho’ is expected to hit the theaters late this year or early 2019.
