Prabhas Is Losing Weight Fast; Effect Of Saaho’s Debacle?

‘Saaho’ starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor is doing well but has failed to meet the expectations that the fans had from the superstar post “Bahubaali.” The 350-crore movie is eventually expected to cover the production cost and even reap some profit for the makers but it certainly is not as successful. And that has given a major jolt to the larger than life image of Prabhas created by his earlier Rajamouli directed blockbusters.

That is why when the news that the Tollywood actor has started losing weight and looking a lot leaner started making rounds fans speculated that it can be the result of lukewarm response to “Saaho.” However, the reality is quite different.

Prabhas To Become Leaner For Romantic Flick

After doing back to back action movies, Prabhas wants to try his hand with a romantic drama. His 20th movie will show him playing a romantic hero for which he will have to drop some kilos. The dedicated superstar has already started training for the new physique and is following a strict workout regime. The yet-to-be-titled flick will have Pooja Hegde starring opposite Prabhas and will be directed by Radha Krishna.

Set in the 1970s Europe, Prabhas has said that this new romantic drama will offer his fans an entirely new experience. Not surprisingly, the superstar has already announced a break from big-budget movies as they take a lot of time to complete. Prabhas declared signing a new project a couple of months back on Facebook.

In his post, the superstar wrote, “Hey guys, I am very excited to share with you the launch of my next trilingual film, directed by KK Radha Krishna and produced by Gopi Krishna movies in association with UV creations. The shoot for the same with Pooja Hegde will begin very soon.”

But at that time he needed to have the bulky look for “Saaho.” That is why he waited for its release and now has started training to lose weight.
