Pooja Hegde will most probably reprise the role of Deepti Naval in her upcoming flick with Ranveer Singh. According to reports, the Singham director Rohit Shetty is planning to make a remake of Angoor-an old Hindi comedy classic. He has already zeroed on Ranveer for the lead role of Sanjeev Kumar which is a double role.

Reportedly, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde will be playing the two leading ladies for the remake. Pooja recently worked in Akshay Kumar's comedy blockbuster Housefull 4. And she seemed quite comfortable in the Joyner.

Even Jacqueline is not new to comedy as she was a part of the earlier Housefull movies. She also did Judwaa 2 with Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu.

Pooja Hegde To Collaborate First Time With Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty

Both Rohit and Ranveer are big names in Bollywood. And hence it is a big opportunity for Radhe Shyam actress who will be collaborating for the first time with the two. Incidentally, reports indicate that even though Ranveer will have a double role, both the actresses will also have a well-written role.

According to Bollywood Hungama, "It’s a double dhamaka of Ranveer, and both the actresses will be paired alongside the actor. Their track plays an important thread in building the confusion, which eventually brings the house down with laughter. It will be a first-time collaboration for the two ladies with Ranveer. It’s an outstanding well-written role for both the girls.”

In the original movie Angoor, Moushumi Chatterjee and Deepti Naval played sisters. Moushumi was the wife of one character of Sanjeev Kumar whereas Deepti played the love interest of the other. Reports indicate that Jacqueline will play the character that Moushumiji played earlier in Angoor whereas Pooja will play her sister.

Angoor is a cult classic from Gulzar which had beautiful songs and an interesting storyline.
