A few days after the news of the talented and budding actress of the Indian film industry Pooja Hegde being caught red handed by police started making rounds, the truth has now been revealed... Yes, there is no truth to the news and those were just baseless rumours that took the social media by storm.

There were media reports that the makers of 'Maharshi' had organized the pre-release event of the movie on May 1, in Hyderabad after which the team reportedly went to party in a hotel where Pooja and others from the team were badly drunk.

Later, all of them went for a car drive during which Pooja’s manager was behind the wheel of her car. They were on drive when police caught her manager and seized his documents and the car as he too was also found drunk. To avoid any further media buzz, rest of Pooja’s team reportedly picked the actress in another car.

However, there was no evidence of any such incident and to prove the rumour then but the manager of the actress has now clarified hitting out at those engaged in circulation of such 'baseless' rumours.

Refuting the rumours, Pooja’s manager Hari said, as quoted by Deccan Chronicle: “This tittle-tattle is absolutely baseless. Pooja wouldn’t dare to take the wheel in a city that she’s barely familiar with! In reality, the film’s production team commissioned a vehicle with a driver to drop the actress to the airport in time for her flight, which was scheduled to depart at 12.20 am.”

He further said that if there would have any truth to the rumours then traffic police should have booked a case against her, which didn’t happen. “The rumour is entirely made up and yet, the media has been writing about it. I have resolved to take legal action against all those pursuing the lie,” DC quoted Hari as saying.
