Apart from her father's connection with the Indian Army, her uncle and aunt (parents of Priyanka Chopra) also served as doctors in the military. So it is natural for her to feel an immediate connection as Rafale landed in her hometown.

Parineeti Chopra's Slow And Steady Rise In Bollywood

Rather she was more into investment banking and obtained a triple honors degree in business, economics, and finance from Manchester Business School. In 2011, Parineeti debuted in movies with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl opposite Ranveer Singh. She won a Filmfare for best debut for this romantic comedy. It was followed by some good movies like Ishaqzaade, Hasee Toh Phasee, and Shuddh Desi Romance.

She received National Film Award-Special Mention for Ishaqzaade. She took hiatus of three years and returned to movies with Golmaal Again in 2017 followed by Akshay Kumar's Kesari in 2019. In between, she was also a part of some highly unsuccessful movies such as Namaste England.  Parineeti Chopra is also a singer and until now has sung three songs. She received appreciation for her song Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin.

Currently, Parineeti is working on three movie projects. These include Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar with Arjun Kapoor, The Gir On The Train, and Saina. The last movie is a biopic based on the life of India's leading shuttler Saina Nehwal.
