According to earlier reports, the hot actress was reluctant to do an item number in Seetimaarr. Talking to the media as to what changed her decision, Apsara said, "I was shooting in Goa for another film. But I was fascinated with the concept and how it was narrated. Director Sampath Nandi too insisted that I do the song.”

Revealing a few things about item number Apsara Rani said, "It’s a bossy song, in which I will be seen showing attitude. I am going to act like a boss but there’s more to the number than just the groovy additions to it. There’s a surprise element that surrounds the song.”
