Sangati Jogwar

Nusrat Jahan hit the headlines a couple of months ago when she worshipped Goddess Durga during the Durga Puja festival. She even participated in Sindoor Khela and performed the ritual of Karwa Chauth. The TMC leader is married to a Hindu businessman Nikhil Jain and hence has been seen enjoying all the Hindu festivals despite coming from Muslim origin.

She even faced a lot of backlash for her approach towards secularism but the Bengali actress turned politician positively addressed all the criticism. A few days ago, Nusrat Jahan was admitted to the hospital due to some respiratory issues. She was discharged after a day and is back to business as usual. Post discharge, Nusrat who regularly shares posts of her activities including recent events a few days ago shared her picture in saree in which she is looking very beautiful.

Nusrat Jahan Missed First Day Of Winter Session

Due to her respiratory problem, the actress could not attend the first day of the winter session which would have been the first winter session for Nusrat Jahan. According to reports, her name started trending on Twitter just because she could not make it to the session. While some reports said that the first-time MP from West Bengal was suffering from asthma and hence was admitted to hospital, another source said that she became unwell due to drug overdose.

Nusrat’s family members rubbished the drug overdose rumours but even then speculations about the MP from Basirhat getting unwell due to overdose of medicines after the birthday party of her husband Nikhil Jain kept on making rounds for some time.
