Not Ram Kapoor, This Actor To Play Anupama's Love Interest

Anupama, is one of the most popular television shows right now, which is receiving all the love and adulation from the viewers because of interesting plots and twists. With the current plot of Anupama and Vanraj’s divorce proceeding, fans are hooked to the show with twists and turns to the plot.

Rumours were abuzz that Ram Kapoor will be soon entering the show as the love interest of show’s lead Anupama aka Rupali Ganguly. However, the makers have finally revealed that Apurva Agnihotri will be entering the show not Ram Kapoor.

Apurva who rose to fame after essaying the role of Armaan in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, said he is quite excited to join the show.

”My character will bring twists and turns in the life of Anupamaa and Shah Parivaar. I decided to accept this role, because it is different in many ways. My character has a lot of layers. There are many aspects and many shades to his personality which will come out as the show progresses,” Apurva was quoted saying to a leading entertainment portal.

He further added, “With this show, i will be back on TV after a gap of sometime. When Anupamaa was offered to me, it was too good an opportunity to refuse because obviously Rajan Shahi is one of the biggest Producers in the Television industry and this show is the most successful show on Star Plus and TV, so there was really no reason to say no.”

Notably, this will mark Apurva’s comeback on TV after a gap. He was last seen seen in Bepanaah on small screen while he was also a part of ALT Balaji’s webseries Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain.

With the entry of Apurva, it will be interesting to see the chemistry between Anupama and the actor and how her divorce with Vanraj folds in the upcoming episodes. Irrespective of the twists, the show will have many surprises for the fans in store in the coming days.
