Mark Ruffalo gained enormous fame for playing the Marvel comic character ‘HULK’. Appearing in more than nine films playing the fierce and green character of the mutant superhero, Ruffalo has created a special place for himself in the comic universe.

His shuttle humbleness while he is in the normal form of Bruce Banner and transformation into a contrasting character of Hulk upon being provoked by circumstances and demand of the situation, gives him a winning edge over other heroes.

Apart from playing the character of Hulk, and being children’s favourite worldwide, Ruffalo has also given some great comic and contemporary movies. Here are three of his best movies of all time.

The Avenger (2012)

This multi-star cast movie produced under the Marvel franchise was the first movie of Ruffalo, starring as the Hulk. The film featured other characters like Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlet Johnson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and others.

Spotlight (2015)

The American biographical drama featured real-life events of famous investigative journalist Michael Rezendes, portrayed by Ruffalo, earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for best actor in the supporting role.

The film won Oscars for best picture, making it the first best picture winner since The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) to only one other to win.

The Kids Are Alright (2010)

The comedy-drama movie is one of its kinds and features Ruffalo in a complex role where the sixteen-year-old son of a same-sex couple decides to find his actual father (Ruffalo), and twists followed the post-discovery!
