Riya Sen controversies: From MMS leak, kissing girl to pushing lower of a male co-actor

Riya Sen recently walked alongside Rahul Gandhi and joined his Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Congress party and the actress herself shared photographs from the yatra on their social media handles bringing the Bong beauty once again into the limelight.

While Riya has never been able to create a good name for herself in Bollywood, her name has been in the tabloids multiple times solely because of her controversies.

Kissed a girl in 2016

Sen triggered a huge uproar when photographs of the actor kissing a girl at a party in 2012 surfaced. The picture showed Riya kissing a mystery woman while her male friend was beside her.

While Riya Sen is indeed known more for her controversies than for movies, the MMS leak can be considered the biggest controversy in her life. Ashmit and Riya were in a relationship for some time and allegedly Ashmit leaked the MMS click of the two which almost ruined the career of this Bengali actress.

The video showed Ashmit and Riya getting intimate and caused a lot of uproars. Later on, both of them said that the MMS was fake but the damage was done.

Multiple affairs with famous people

Reportedly, Riya Sen was in a relationship with Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna at one point in her life. She was also linked with John Abraham. The two met when the Dostana actor and Riya were still struggling. John wanted to marry her but after Riya’s first movie became a hit she dropped him and later on was involved with Ashmit Patel.

Riya’s name has also been linked with Salman Rushdie and cricketers Yuvraj Singh, and Sreesanth before finally marrying Shivam Tewari.

Riya pulled down lower of Nishant Malkani

During the filming of Ragini MMS, there was one particular scene between Riya and Nishant Malkani. According to the latter, Riya pulled down his pant saying that women will love him for this even though it was not part of the script.
