The new season of Indian Idol has started and there are some fantastic singers who are currently entertaining the judges and the audience. But the craze that Indian Idol 12’s contestants, especially the top 4- Pawandeep Rajan , Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble, and Danish Mohammed, created remains unmatched.
Even the earlier winners from Indian Idol or other music reality shows could not touch this level of success and fame.
Of course, there have been a few exceptions like Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Neha Kakkar, Rahul Vaidya, and a few more, but more often the singers from such music reality shows go into oblivion after a period of time. But that has not happened with Pawandeep, Arunita, Sayli, and Danish.
They are still very much famous, their social media following is increasing day by day and importantly, they are performing regularly in India and abroad charging a whopping amount for each concert almost at par with what the other Bollywood A-listed singers are getting.
After completing their overseas tour last year after Indian Idol 12 ended, now they are back to touring the US and are performing in big cities like New Jersey, Atlantic City, and more which indicates that they are in good demand among the NRIs who want to enjoy Bollywood movie songs.
Even though these singers do not have any good Bollywood hits to their name, they are quite famous in the music circuit because as a team these 4 singers have managed to entertain the audience with all types of songs.
Arunita majorly focuses on Lata Mangeshkar's melodious and semi-classical songs, Sayli Kamble offers a dose of naughty and mischievous songs with her rendition of Asha Bhosale-special hits. Pawandeep is very good in all joyners whereas Danish expertly renders Sufi and Punjabi-style songs.
That is why, these four singers as a team have been able to achieve more name, fame, and money as compared to most of the other contestants and winners of music reality shows.
