Nayanthara And Trisha’s Bitter-sweet Friendship & Fallout: Who Caused It?

Catfights and fallouts among celebs are nothing new. Be it professional or personal all such splits, fights always attract attention and make the headlines because fans just love to discuss and read them. The fallout between Nayanthara and Trisha-two of the famous South Indian actresses also hogged a lot of limelight. From calling it a catfight due to professional issues and competition to categorizing it as the end of a good friendship, speculations and rumours followed the breakup. More than a decade later even today fans keep on speculating about the incidence.

Trisha Grabbed A Movie For Which Nayanthara Was Earlier Asked For

In 2008, when the news first hit the media speculations indicated that the two friends had a fallout because Trisha got what Nayanthara was expecting to get. According to a source, both Trisha and Nayanthara were asked for a Tamil film Kuruvi which eventually went to Trisha. That is why things between the two actresses turned sour.

However, Trisha refuted this news saying that the fallout did not happen due to professional reasons. Rather she stated it was more of a personal nature and caused by some mutual friends. Now it is not clear whether the mutual friend was a man, with whom both the actresses wanted to cozy up with, however, the mutual friend indeed succeeded breaking a good bond between these two actresses.

When the rumours about the rift became the talk of the town, Trisha decided to come out in the open and address the issue. The actress said, “Nayan has been in this industry for donkey's years, more than a decade to be precise. I think most of the issues Nayan and I had was media created. Yes, we had a little fallout but that was not professional. It was personal and due to some mutual friends we had. We didn’t talk for a while but we never fought."

Trisha Initiated Talks With Nayanthara

After some time even Nayanthara came out with a statement supporting Trishas comment. The actress said that she had a misunderstanding with Trisha and the two actresses did not speak with each other for a long time. According to Lady superstar, it was Trisha who started communication between them and that she is extremely thankful to her.

Nayanthara said, "When she took the effort to come to talk to me what more is needed? I have to give it to her and I appreciate her for initiated the conversation."
