Fans flooded the comment section with excitement and disbelief. Many called it a reunion they never expected to see.

Clearing the Air on Past Fallout Rumours

Speculation about tension between Nayanthara and Trisha dates back to 2008, when reports suggested a clash over the Tamil film Kuruvi. Both actresses were reportedly considered for the role of Devi, which eventually went to Trisha. However, Trisha later clarified that there was no professional rivalry between them.

In an interview, Trisha explained that most rumours were exaggerated by the media and that any minor differences were personal rather than work-related. Nayanthara, too, addressed the issue, stating that misunderstandings had caused distance between them and praising Trisha for taking the initiative to mend their bond.
