Having worked for decades in the industry, Nana enjoys good connections with the topmost film directors and production houses in the film world. But when it came to settling the career of his son Malhar in the film industry, the Krantiveer actor refused to use any of these connections to promote Malhar's career.

According to reports, Nana Patekar wants his son to struggle and earn his place in Bollywood which is a far cry from what the B-town parents have been doing for their kids.
