Nagarjuna on Samantha's career, love between 'U-Turn' actress & son Naga

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been ruling the Telugu film industry for over three decades and still going strong. Recently, the superstar spoke about the career of his daughter-in-law and Tollywood princess Samantha and also the strong bond that both the 'Rangasthalam' actress and son Naga Chaitanya share.

Nagarjuna  said, as quoted by Deccan Chronicle, "Samantha’s career is on a roll. In fact, all three of her releases post-marriage Mersel, Rangasthalam, and Mahanati have been super hits. It just goes to show how wrong people are when they presume that an actress’ career suffers a setback after marriage. What better example of an empowered married actress than Samantha?”

Samantha, who is known for winning hearts, has definitely won over her in-laws. He further said that Samantha has got fit into the family effortlessly as she was a part of it even before marriage to Chaitanaya. Marriage, for Samantha was just like a change of residence, he stated.

On the flourishing love between his son and the 'Mahanati' actress, Nagarjuna further said, “What I find very reassuring is that even after marriage my son and Samantha are just as much in love as they were before. You can see the adoring looks for each other in their eyes.”

On the other hand, Samantha feels that marriage empower a woman. Recently, when a fan of the her wrote on Twitter, "You are Perfect Example for Marriage is not a barrier to Stop Dreams and Stopping your successful career," the actress retweeted it saying, "Marriage should empower women .. Not restrict them . My work is better now Coz I feel empowered. @chay_akkineni."
