Manoj Bajpayee is all set to return as the ever-relatable Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man Season 3, and the buzz around the show is rising rapidly.

But before diving into high-risk missions and political conspiracies, Bajpayee has offered fans a delightful glimpse into Srikant’s chaotic home life—this time as a confused yet lovable ‘pookie’ dad trying to decode Gen Z slang.

Srikant Tiwari’s Gen Z Struggles Take Over the Internet

In a playful promotional video, Bajpayee teams up once again with his on-screen children Dhriti (Ashlesha Thakur) and Atharv (Vedant Sinha). Dhriti hands over a script and warns him to read it exactly as taught. The moment he looks into the camera, Srikant is shocked to see an adorable ‘pookie’ filter on his face.

Reacting instantly, he says, “Yaar iss mein main papa kam aur Pari zyada lag raha hoon,” setting the tone for a laugh-filled clip. As he attempts to read through the script—mixing up “pookies” with “cookies” and saying “soup” instead of “sup”—Atharv keeps correcting him like a typical Gen Z teen.

Finally, Srikant tries to deliver the full line announcing the trailer, but ends up hilariously replacing “lowkey” with “lauki” and stretching “for real” into “frrrr.” Eventually, he gives up on the slang altogether and slips back into his own style, proving once again why the character remains one of India’s most loved OTT dads.

Prime Video will premiere The Family Man Season 3 on November 21, 2025, at 12 AM IST. This season pushes Srikant into one of the gravest crises of his career as a dangerous new conspiracy threatens to destabilise Northeast India.

Jaideep Ahlawat joins as Rukma—an intense new antagonist—while Nimrit Kaur, Jugal Hansraj, Aditya Srivastava, Paalin Kabak, and Harman Singha round out the cast, adding mystery and depth to the narrative.

Priyamani and Nimrat Kaur Share Their Experiences

While Bajpayee’s comic timing grabs the spotlight, Priyamani in an interview to ANI, revealed that Season 3 brings Srikant’s family more deeply into the storyline, even taking them to Kohima for reasons that will unfold on screen.

Raj and DK noted that crafting a fresh third season was a major challenge, but the long wait has resulted in a richer storyline and evolved characters.

Nimrat Kaur, who plays a sharply defined femme-fatale-like character, also shared in the same interview with ANI that this is one of her most unique roles, describing her character as ruthless, crisp, and deliberately mysterious.
