Krrish 4, No From Hrithik Roshan's Dad

Rakesh Roshan had reportedly, last year, announced to kick start Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Krrish 4' but reports are currently there that Hrithik Roshan's dad and director of the mega superhero franchise has apparently decided to back off from the film.

Krrish has become a household name as India's first superhero on big screen. Following the Hollywood trend, actor-director Rakesh Roshan begun a trend in the Indian Film industry of running sequel of stories which distinguished his son Hrithik Roshan from others. After Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish became a blockbuster which introduced the first superhero of Indian cinema and the roar continued with Krrish 3.

With the announcement of Krrish 4, eagerness among the fans mounted high. But the news that Rakesh will not be directing Krrish 4 has disappointed fans. As per reports, shooting of the movie was shifted after producer-director Rakesh underwent a surgery after getting diagnosed with cancer.

However, Hrithik had confirmed that his father is recovering from the surgical pain. But, it seems he may not be able to handle the stress and labour of shooting.

As per a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh has decided to rope in Sanjay Gupta to direct the movie. Furthermore, the father-son duo has taken the decision and finalised it after they realized about the health condition of Rakesh. The Roshans feel Sanjay will be a perfect selection for directing the high-octane and big-budget superhero movie- Krrish 4.
