Kriti Sanon has bagged two big projects in just a couple of days. According to reports, the actress will be a part of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starter Bachchan Pandey. She has already been paired with Akki in Housefull 4. But the movie also included two more actresses.

In Bachchan Pandey, Kriti will have more scope as only one more female lead will be joining the star cast. The movie produced by Khiladi Kumar's dear friend Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji will go on the floors next year in January. The crew will start the first leg of the shooting of Bachchan Pandey in Jaisalmer.

Akshay Kumar plays a gangster in Bachchan Pandey who wants to become an actor. On the other hand, Kriti will portray a journalist who wants to become a director.

Kriti Sanon To Star Opposite Prabhas as Sita in Adipurush

The latest reports circulating on social media suggest that Om Raut has finalized Kriti Sanon for the role of Sita in his upcoming movie Adipurush starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. As is known, the Baahubali actor will play the lead role of Ram while Saifu will portray Ravan in the movie.

Both Om Raut and Prabhas has been trying to narrow down on a Bollywood actress for the role of Sita. While Saif was finalized as Ravan within few days of the announcement of the movie, the makers took their time to finalize the name of the lead actress. From Deepika Padukone to Anushka Sharma, the Adipurush team considered several leading actresses for the role of Sita.

However, now the news is that Kriti Sanon will play Sita in Adipurush.

Kriti had a mixed year in 1999 with Housefull 4 released in October becoming a major hit while Ashutosh Gowarikar's historical magnum opus Panipat tanking at the box-office. However, the upcoming two movies made under big banners and with topmost Indian superstars are sure to take Kriti Sanon's career ahead next year.
