Every now and then, we keep coming across love stories and break-ups of actors, be it Bollywood or Kollywood. While some of them choose to walk down the aisle, others look for new relationships. The charismatic south Indian actress, Nayanthara, who made her acting debut in the year 2003 in Malayalam movie 'Manassinakkare', had become talk of the town on multiple occasions.
Nayanthara, who has been a part of the movie industry for nearly 15 years, has been through some controversial relationships.
Here's a look at them:
Nayanthara-Silambarasan Rajendar (Simbu): The news of Nayanthara and Simbu's love affair had begun during the early stages of her career. However, it lasted only for a few months. By then, intimate photos of the two had found their way to social media. The photos had Simbu and Nayanthara indulged in a deep kiss and this leak of these photos was said to be one of the reasons behind their break up. After the break-up, Nayanthara issued a statement saying that she would never work with Simbu.
Even though it continued only for some months, social media was filled with some intimate pictures of the duo. Both of them were purportedly kissing each other in the leaked pictures which is said to be a reason behind both parting ways. Subsequently, after the break-up, Nayanthara issued a statement saying that she would never work with Simbu in any movie. However, seven years after their breakup, both teamed up for a Tamil romantic-drama.
Nayanthara-Prabhudeva: The intimacy between Nayanthara and actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva had gained limelight in the year 2010. It was the time when Nayanthara had even sported a tattoo of Prabhudeva on her body. Prabhu Deva's wife Latha had alleged that her husband was having an affair with Nayanthara citing newspaper publications.
Subsequently, a family court had issued notice to Prabhu Deva and the actress on an application by the actor's wife seeking an interim injunction restraining her husband and the actress from marrying.
In her petition, former actress Latha Prabhu Deva said she married Prabhu Deva in Chennai in September 1995 according to Hindu rites and customs.
Nayanthara-VigneshShivn: Even though Nayanthara and Vignesh never openly admitted about their relationship, the duo have been spotted together in award ceremonies and at holiday destinations. As per reports, both of them came closer for the flick Naan Rowdy Dhaan in the year 2015 and later they started dating each other.

Recently, a senior DMK leader Radha Ravi was suspended for his alleged misogynistic remarks against Nayanthara. Radha Ravi's remarks at an event had created a furore, with actors Kamal Haasan, Taapsee Pannu and director Vignesh Shivan hitting out at him. A video purportedly showing Radharavi making the remarks had gone viral
While Radha Ravi expressed regret for his remarks, Nayanthara lashed out at him, alleging he was trying to hog limelight with such "cheap" comments.
