The equation between KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty often seemed to be much more than 'just friends'. The duo is rumoured to be in a relationship. Though, affairs between cricketers and Bollywood celebrities are nothing new, the duo have never accepted to be in a platonic relationship. However, the latest post by Robin Uthappa's wife on Instagram brings the curtains down, somehow.
Recently, Athiya enjoyed a pleasant dinner with KL Rahul and some friends, on Saturday. The friends included cricketer Robin Uthappa and his wife Shheethal, Cricketer Sinan Khadir and Rahul's sister Bhavana.
Shheethal shared some splendid moments, while everyone was enjoying the dinner, on her Insta ID. She captioned the post, "I'v grown up having the most amazing friends who have been my family from the beginning.. and so blessed to have that family growing at every stage of life."
Athiya adorned a striped white shirt while Rahul had put on a sweatshirt. The rumoured couple was seating next to each other.
Athiya reacted to the post with a heart emoji while Sinan commented, "Seeing you guys in Mumbai soon.".
The post even garnered massive likes and comments from fans of KL Rahul and Athiya. many even commented on the post thanking Shheethal for the exclusive pics.
The duo have been captured several times together sharing special moments that ignited the rumours of the duo being in a relationship.
Earlier on November 28 last year, Rahul posted a selfie with Athiya and captioned it: "Happy birthday mad child." In the pic, Athiya can be seen resting her head on Rahul's shoulder. This post made the rumours stronger.
As the reports suggest, the rumored lovebirds met for the first time via a common friend. Since their first meeting, the two hit it off really well and eventually started dating. The two have been making public appearances but remain silent about their relationship.
