The popular reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with season 11 and all set to hit the telly screens this May. Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, every season fans get to see some of the most popular faces taking part in the show. Recently, season 11’s contestants Arjun Bijlani and Aastha Gill have spilled on the new season and shooting amidst Covid.
Actor Arjun Bijlani will fly to Cape Town soon for the shoot and he says it’s not easy to leave his family behind in such unprecedented times.
“As they say, the show must go on! Leaving my family behind in such unprecedented times for Khatron Ke Khiladi is indeed an arduous task. I am feeling all sorts of emotions right now. I am a little anxious looking around at the crisis, at the same time excited to embark on this adventurous journey, and more than anything, worried about my family. They, too, are upset about me leaving, which makes it even harder,” he said.

The actor says that the show feels very different this year because of the pandemic. “This year, it is not about winning or losing; it is more about keeping our spirits high and moving forward. I sincerely believe that each participant this year is a winner because this is a situation like no other. At this moment, the energy to pull yourself out of the dark zone and all the negativity for the show is commendable on everyone’s part,” he says.
Meanwhile, Singer Aastha Gill who is known for her songs such as Dj Waley babu, Buzz, and Proper Patola, says she never thought she would take part in Khatron Ke Khiladi.

“I never thought that I would be a part of a reality TV show and then this happened. When I got the call to be part of this show, the first thought was how would I face my fears of insects and animals. But then that’s what kicked me to be part of it and overcome those fears. Of course, it won’t be easy, but I’m kicked to challenge myself once again,” she says.
The contestants will fly down to Cape Town on May 6 for the shoot.
