Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming Telegu remake of Ajith starrer hit movie Vedalam has already been making headlines for various reasons.

The latest buzz is that the stunt master duo Anbu and Arivu who came to the limelight with their action packed scenes that impressed the nation in KGF  are set to come on board for Vedalam remake.

The duo who won the National Award for KGF have reportedly met Chiranjeevi along with director Meher Ramesh and discussed a couple of ideas about the actions scenes.

While fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement, according to reports, Sai Pallavi is going to play Chiranjeevi's sister in the remake which is a pivotal role in the movie. The Maari actress has a huge fan base after her back to back Telegu hits. The role was played by actress Lakshmi Menon in the original which garnered good response from the audience.

The shoot of the film will begin early next month once Chiranjeevi completes Acharya, after which he will be shooting for both Lucifer and Vedalam remake simultaneously.

The original Vedalam starred Ajith as a taxi driver in Kolkata who fights the underworld. It also stars Shruti Hassan in the lead role. Initially, Pawan Kalyan expressed his interest to play the lead in Telugu remake of Vedalam. However, since he got busy with political commitments, he opted out of the project.

Earlier Chiru took everyone by surprise when posted his bald look on Instagram which went viral. He later clarified regarding the post revealing that it was a look test for Vedalam's remake.
