The first look of KGF Chapter 2 was released last week and if reports are to be believed, the teaser of the Yash starrer may be released on January 8 as a birthday gift to Rocky Bhai.
Meanwhile, director of KGF 2, Prashanth Neel has revealed many interesting things about the movie and the journey of KGF so far. In a recent interview with Cinema Express, the director said, “All our eggs are in the second basket... It was a risk to split the film this way, but it paid off.”
Neel thanked the producers of the movie for believing and giving him the money, and also appreciated Yash for giving enough time for KGF.
“It was a huge relief and great joy to see KGF Chapter 1 doing well. I can't quite put into words how thrilling it was," he said.
He further revealed that there wasn’t enough budget to give KGF a pan India look, but it gradually happened as they realised that the story could appeal to people belonging to all languages and not the Kannada audience only.
If the story is good and has the capacity to connect with the audience, no matter in which language a film is released, it will spread across the globe, he added.
KGF Chapter 2 is expected to hit the silver screen in July 2020.
