A few days ago, there was a buzz in the south movie industry that director Puri Jagannadh had finalized KGF star Yash for his dream project 'Jana Gana Mana'. Such buzz streamed after a source confirmed that the director visited Yash in Bengaluru twice and had discussed the script with him. But, as per the recent rumours, KGF Chapter 2 Star Yash is out from the dream project for some personal reasons and hence, the director has finalized the 'Arjun Reddy' star Vijay Deverakonda for the movie.
If this rumor is anything to go by, Jana Gana Mana is a dream project for the director and South Superstar Mahesh Babu was his first choice. Due to undisclosed reasons, Mahesh Babu had reportedly rejected the movie. It is also said that Megastar Chiranjeevi had even rejected the offer earlier.
After several years, lost hopes of the director took a grand rebirth with Rocky Bhai Yash. The story is a take on the gruesome murders, rape cases and crimes that shook our nation over the last few years and the director had reportedly found the KGF star perfect for portraying the lead character.
Fans of the KGF star were building high expectations from the collaboration of Yash and Puri until yesterday. After the iSmart Shankar director Puri Jagannadh made an official announcement about finalizing Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda for his next project, fans of Yash got a bit disappointed.
Rumors have now started making their ways to social medias that the Arjun Reddy star has replaced the KGF star in Puri's dream project. Though there is no official announcement and concrete support to the rumor, the buzz has taken the social media by storm.
If rumors are to believed, Yash stepped back from the dream project of Puri citing his busy schedule for shooting of the most awaited action movie- KGF Chapter 2.
KGF Chapter 2 star Yash has won hearts of millions with his powerful, extraordinary and lively performance in KGF Chapter 1. KGF Chapter 2 is listed among one of the most awaited movies of this year. Yash fans are eagerly waiting for the movie's release and the excitement has doubled after inclusion of Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist 'Adhira' in the movie.
Director Puri Jagannadh had a blockbuster comeback with iSmart Shankar starring Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles. Being the director of hit movies like Idiot, Pokiri, Chirutha, Bujjigadu and Businessman, expectations from his dream project are certainly higher.
Awesome performance of Vijay Deverakonda in Arjun Reddy earned him more popularity than before and with the release of its official remake in Bollywood Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor, craze for the south star increased.
