KGF Chapter 1 Records Seem No Longer Invincible!

KGF Chapter 1 proved to be one of the top grossing movies at the box office in 2018. The film starring Rockstar Yash in the lead broke several records with its original Kannada version and its Hindi version.

According to reports, KGF 1 made around 135 crore in Karnataka alone and had surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s box office collection in the state.

With its Hindi version, it dented Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero at the box office, which surprised many business pundits. The flick also became 4th highest grosser Hindi-dubbed down south film.

However, it seems Sandalwood's favourite mass hero Darshan's Roberrt will put Yash's KGF records in risk as it hit the big screen this week with its impressive screen numbers.

Challenging star Darshan's latest release 'Roberrt' has been garnering positive feedbacks from fans across the globe.

Reportedly, Roberrt in Bengaluru city alone had 626 shows on day one of its release which is an all-time record for any Kannada movie.

It is being speculated that Roberrt's 1st day box office collections would be around Rs 20 crore owing to the screen numbers, ticket price.

Meanwhile, fans of Darshan are placing bets that Roberrt will surpass Yash's KGF box office records.

It is yet to be seen if Roberrt overtakes KGF's box office collection, but movie buffs will definitely have a goodtime watching the mass entertainer after the long covid lockdown haitus.

The film starcast includes Jagapathi Babu, P. Ravi Shankar, Ravi Kishan, Asha Bhat along with Darshan.

Reportedly Darshan will be seen potraying two different shades in the movie .

'Roberrt' has been directed by Tharun Kishore Sudhir and produced by Umapathy Srinivas Gowda under Umapathy Films.
