Hyderabad: 'Mahanati', the movie based on life of the most admired actress from South India Savitri, has given Keerthy Suresh an altogether a new space for her in the film industry. Her stellar performance in the movie help her win millions of hearts.

Apart from the several awards it has won, the movie recently bagged eight awards at the Zee Telugu Cine Awards. Keerthy also won the Best Actress award for her outstanding performance in the movie.

Reports are there that after giving such a challenging performance in 'Mahanati', Keerthy Suresh has become more cautious about signing movies. She is also believed to be more interested in female centric movies which actresses like Anushka Shetty and Nayantara often take up.

Meanwhile, rumours are making rounds that Keerthy will be seen in a Telugu film opposite Rajnikanth in A.R. Murugadoss' next. Notably, Keerthy was last seen in Vijay-starrer 'Sarkar', which was directed by Murugadoss. However, an official statement in this regard is yet to be released.

Moreover, speculations are also rife that Keerthy has signed a sports-drama, which is written and directed by Atlee Kumar, opposite Vijay. If the news is anything to go by, it will be her third engagement with Vijay after 'Bairavaa' and 'Sarkar'.

However, no official announcement has been made so far in this regard.
