Sangati Jogwar

Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the wave of success of his movie “Sweety Ke Titu Ki Kahani” with Nusrat Bharucha. Of course, his other movie with Kriti Sanon “Luka Chuppi” also fared well at the box-office. And that is the reason why Kartik currently has movies from reputed banners under his belt.

He has already completed shooting for the remake of Sanjeev Kumar and Vidya Sinha film “Pati Patni aur Woh” by the same name which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. And now he has started shooting for “Bhool Bhulaiyya 2,” a sequel to the original movie starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan directed by Priyadarshan. He also has another sequel in the form of “Dostana 2” which stars Janhvi Kapoor opposite Kartik.

Only Remakes And Sequels?

Fans of Kartik Aaryan are worried that the actor only has sequels and remakes as projects which can be quite dangerous as every time the movie releases it will be compared with the original flick. “Pati Patni Aur Woh” of Sanjeev Kumar is a classic and everyone knows how great an actor he was. Similarly, be it “Dostana” or “Bhool Bhulaiyya” both the movies were a big hit and Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham and Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar respectively had made their roles iconic.

Now doing all these sequels and remakes may not prove to be a very good choice for Kartik Aaryan who lately has been in news more for his affair with Sara Ali Khan and then with Ananya Panday. Also, the actor recently is rumored to have hiked his fee to Rs. 7 crores which might deter other producers from signing him for new movies.

Although Kartik has a huge fan following, he has to prove himself with a couple of movies more to get the fees he demands. Or else he may lose on good projects and his career may come into trouble.
