Kartik Aaryan returns to his Rom-Com roots with Luv Ranjan’s next

After ruling hearts with the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan is all set to team up once again with his mentor and hitmaker Luv Ranjan. According to a Pinkvilla report, the actor-director duo is reuniting for their fifth collaboration, marking the comeback of one of Bollywood’s most successful partnerships.

A Reunion Fans Have Been Waiting For

A source close to the development revealed, “Luv Ranjan and Kartik Aaryan have been exploring ideas for a while, and they’ve finally locked a script that deserves their union. The film is currently in pre-production and is expected to go on floors in 2026.”

The insider added, “This marks their fifth project together, making it one of Bollywood’s longest-running actor-director collaborations. Expect a quintessential Luv Ranjan entertainer, strong music, witty dialogues, and Kartik in the fun-loving avatar audiences adore.”

A Decade of Chemistry & Hits

The duo first struck gold with Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), followed by Akaash Vani (2013), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), and the blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). While Akaash Vani flew under the radar, it showcased Kartik’s emotional depth beyond his comedic flair.

In 2023, Kartik even made a special cameo in Luv’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

What’s Next for Kartik?

Meanwhile, Kartik is reuniting with Sameer Vidwans, his Satyaprem Ki Katha director, for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Ananya Panday. The romantic drama is slated for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release, promising yet another heartfelt entertainer from Bollywood’s most-loved rom-com star.
