Well, finally the biggest news of the season is here. The long wait of the fans is over as actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is back in action and is hoping to spread happiness and laughter once again. He has announced his return with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, what has been one of the all-time popular comedy shows in television.
In a recent tweet, Kapil posted a picture with a caption, “Back in Mumbai after one n half month.. now it’s time to make u people laugh with the new season of #TKSS.”

Kapil had earlier confirmed his return in a tweet and if sources are to be believed, it might kick-off around Diwali.

The date when 'The Kapil Sharma Show' will go on air is yet to be confirmed, but the promo will be on air in the coming week, a source from the channel told IANS.
Sony TV's official spokesperson said in a statement: "Kapil Sharma is coming home to Sony Entertainment Television with his highly successful weekend comedy show. We are delighted and looking forward to again collaborate with Kapil and his absolutely talented creative team and actors."
On Sunil Grover joining AKA Dr Mashoor Gulati 'The Kapil Sharma Show':
Sunil Grover (famous as Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati) and Kapil Sharma have been a part of showbiz for a long time, but their popularity as comedians grew by leaps and bounds with TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in Sony Television.
It seems both of them have moved on from the controversy and when Sunil Grover was asked about this during an interview to Pinkvilla he said, “We have done a beautiful show together and made many people laugh together.
Recently, Kapil Sharma wished Sunil Grover for his recent release Pataakha to which Sunil replied saying, “Thank you bha ji for your wishes. All the best for ‘Son of Manjit Singh’. All the success.”
We know, in their heart they still love each other.
While speculations have been rife that Sunil Grover might join the show, it has not been confirmed yet as neither he has mentioned anything on this nor Kapil has revealed about the cast of the show.
“Currently, I am busy with shooting for several films and right now I can’t say anything about the future,” Sunil had said when he was asked about joining Kapil again.
But, it would certainly be a great Diwali gift for the fans if both the comedy stars spread magic again ‘together’ in TKSS.
