The Kapil Sharma Show is currently on hiatus as its host Kapil Sharma has taken paternity leave. Respite from work gave the famous comedian a chance to enjoy some wonderful moments watching the Indian Idol 12 Valentine's Day Special.

Taking to Twitter Kapil appreciated the singing of the contestants from the episode. He wrote, "Watching tv after so long, but enjoying a lot watching my favorite @aapkadharam paji n #ashaparekh ji in #indianidol superb episode so much talent together on single-stage, congratulations to the team."

Earlier at the start of this season, the selected Indian Idol 12 contestants had come on The Kapil Sharma Show along with the judges Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya and enthralled the viewers.

Incidentally, Kapil Sharma is a big fan of Dharmendra who also hails from Punjab like the comedy king and his success story has always inspired him.

Kapil Sharma's Digital Debut is Most Awaited

While fans are eagerly waiting for The Kapil Sharma Show to return they also are eager to watch the digital debut of the comedian on Netflix. While it is not clear whether the story will be a comedy, serious, or suspense one, it is going to stream across 190 countries in 2021.

The comedy superstar has been sharing snippets of his preparations on Instagram and has reduced a lot of weight to get a leaner, fitter look apt for his role for the digital debut.
