BTS Army yet again proved that the global boy band’s rapper J-Hope is indeed the sunshine of their lives and this time by crashing the internet. Hobi who turns 27 today, hosted a birthday live stream for the ARMY as he had promised earlier, breaking the internet.

The rapper had tuned into Vlive a little early to greet the early birds, but as soon as he waved at the screen the platform crashed because of the massive number of fans logging in to wish Ho-Seok on his special day.

As Jung Hoseok tried shifting to the Weverse app and then YouTube live stream, the platforms also crashed due to viewer overload. But despite the platforms crashing multiple times and J-Hope shifting from app to app, he was successful in interacting with his fans. He expressed his gratitude to band members, staff, and fans while chatting with the ARMY.

Hobi showed the fans around the room and the picture hung on them, he also showed the Billboards 100 button. In the end, he blew the candles on a strawberry birthday cake to the Korean birthday song and wished himself a happy birthday while breaking out into dance.

During the live, he was seen wearing a Studio Ghibli-inspired Totoro Crafty Tree Sweater that costs $1850, which soon started trending and eventually went out of stock.

HappyHoseokDay has been trending all over the world since midnight and fans from different countries are wishing ‘the hope’ of the purple fans happy birthday. As J-Hope Day is celebrated with full glam and dazzle just like the rapper himself, here’s wishing we get to hear ‘I am your hope, you’re my hope, I am J-Hope’ for many years to come.
