Because let’s be honest - do we ever need an actual reason to savour some delicious Dahibara Aloodum? After all, it is possible that one thing that unifies all the Odias or the people of Odisha from all walks of lives - regardless of who we are, where we, or what our likes/dislikes may be.

Babuli Dahibara – The Cuttakias love their Dahibara and take it seriously. So when local testify their love for Babuli Dahibara you know it is worth it. Babuli bhai has won national accolades for his culinary excellence. He has won the National Street Food Festival award thanks to his soft yet utterly spicy Dahibara Aloodum. The freshly chopped onions and chillies add a fresh flavour to the desi cuisine.

Trinath Dahibara – If you are one of those people who can’t feel the spice till tears start rolling down the eyes, this is the place for you. With rich and dense gravy and crispy sev, the place has turned into a hotspot over the years.

Raghu Dahibara – Are you even a Dahibara fan if you haven’t tried at this classic favourite pit- stop? Over time, Raghu Dahibara has become a brand in itself and a cult favourite. It is mildly spicy but guarantees a burst of flavours in your mouth. While at it, finish with their famous Peda.

Ramesh Bhai Dahibara Aloodum – This is one of the most underrated places of it all. With piping hot guguni and succulent Dahibara of two varieties- sweet and tangy one. The tangy baras with steaming hot ghughuni and aloodum gives the flavour a real unique twist.

Ishwar Dahibara – Every local swear by this place and we know why. Their Dahibara melts in your mouth and also provides you an option to choose from sweet or sour baras. The place is famous for the mildly sweet baras that compliments well with the spicy guguni.
