India's Best Dancer: Rutuja Junnarkar To Replace Disha Vakani As Dayaben in TMKOC on Demand of Fans?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently completed 3000 episodes. To celebrate this milestone India's Best Dancer invited the entire team of TMKOC on its weekend episodes. While all the dancers presented various characters from the show on Sony SAB, one particular performance by Rutuja Junnarkar became the major highlight of the weekend.

Along with her choreographer Ashish Patil, Rutuja who represents classical dancing portrayed Dayaben aka Disha Vakani's character. She danced to the tune of Baby Doll in such a way that all the members of the TMKOC team felt that Dayaben is dancing.

India's Best Dancer Contestant Rutuja Junnarkar Overwhelmed With Compliments

Judges Geeta Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Terence Lewis were mesmerized by the performance of Rutuja. She got all of 30 on 30 from the judges and was extremely happy. However, it was the compliment from Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal and producer of TMKOC -Asit Kumar Modi that left her overwhelmed. Asit Kumar Modi went ahead and said, "Hame yeh Dayaben De Do."

As is known Dayaben aka Disha Vakani who is one of the most popular characters of the comedy serial on Sony SAB is on break for the last 3 years. Fans have been demanding her return. Earlier reports stated that Disha had taken a break from the serial as she was pregnant.

But even after 3 years, there are no signs of Disha's return. Fans are constantly pressing Asit Kumar Modi to get her back. Reports also stated that there has been some misunderstanding between Disha and Modi and the actress is giving the producer a hard time.

Disha Vakani made the character of Dayaben iconic and it is simply difficult for fans to see anyone else in her role. But the way Rutuja impressed everyone on India's Best Dancer show has suddenly increased the expectations of the TMKOC fans.

Now they want Asit Kumar Modi to replace Disha Vakani with Rutuja Junnarkar as Dayaben. A user wrote, "India's Best Dancer Please take Rutuja Junnarkar as Dayaben in @TMKOC_NTF  tmkoc @SonyTV it will take the show to top again .. and we will start watching it again."
