Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan and his wife have tested positive for Coronavirus and announced this on their social media. Post the announcement, fans have been wondering who is going to step into his shoes while he is gone. While this week Jay Bhanushali has taken Aditya’s place, next week the makers are going to rob in another host.
As per reports, Rithvik Dhanjani will step in the shoes of Aditya Narayan as the host while he recovers. Rithvik will be replacing Aditya as per the choice of the makers because he has hosted a number of shows to his credit. From Nach Baliye, super Dancer to India’s Best Dramebaaz, Dhanjani has hosted a number of reality shows and has even acted in a number of soaps.
Talking to news portals, Rithvik said he is excited to host Indian Idol 12 and will be approaching the show as a fan as his parents also follow it. He shared that he will be shooting for the next week and the fact he has already worked with judges, Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya is an added bonus.
Rithvik Dhanjani recently vacayed in the Maldives and took the COVID-19 test which turned out to be negative. Fans are only hoping and wish that Aditya will be back as the host before Indian Idol 12 hits the finale.

On Saturday, Aditya Narayan took to Instagram to share his health update, he wrote, “Hello all! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha & I have tested positive for Covid-19 & are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol & do keep us in your prayers. This too shall pass ❤️”
